Wanderers’ highly anticipated Papa Johns Trophy final against Plymouth is right around the corner.
It is the Whites’ first trip to Wembley in more than a decade and more than 70,000 tickets have already been sold between the two sets of supporters.
Ian Evatt’s men reached this stage following a memorable 2-0 win at Accrington Stanley in the semi-final thanks to goals from Elias Kachunga and Aaron Morley.
Here is all the information you need if you are making the journey down to the capital
Travel
Supporters travelling by train are urged to “plan their journeys in advance to avoid disappointment or delay to their travel”.
The three main stations near the stadium are Wembley Stadium, Wembley Central and Wembley Park.
There are likely to be “limited services” back to Manchester after the game and fans can check National Rail Enquiries and Transport For London for the latest information.
For those who are driving to the game, parking at Wembley is “limited and must be booked in advance”. Fans are advised to only use official car parks.
Anyone attending the final is urged to arrive at least an hour before kick-off to allow sufficient time to enter the stadium.
Facilities
Both teams have dedicated Fan Zones, where they can soak up the pre-match atmosphere with food and drink. There will also be a DJ providing live music.
The Bolton Fan Zone can be found on the East Concourse area of the stadium and will be open from 11am on the day of the game.
Supporters must present a valid match ticket to enter the area, and alcohol will not be served after 2pm. Both Fan Zones are said to have “limited capacities”.
There are also a number of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area, but fans are warned that it is a “no-street-drinking zone” any anyone caught doing so will have their alcohol confiscated.
Supporters are also warned that persistent standing is forbidden (apart from in safe standing areas) and the use of pyrotechnics is illegal.
Moreover, each person can only bring one small bag to the stadium and it cannot be bigger than A4 size. A full list of banned items can be found HERE.
