The global reach of Bolton Wanderers has been highlighted as it has been discovered fans from across the world will be travelling to Wembley on Sunday to see their side in the Papa Johns Trophy final.
Around 34,000 of the Bolton faithful will be descending on London this weekend.
Some of the club's most loyal fans live in places like Colorado in America, Canada, Germany, Argentina, China and South Africa and will be watching the clash against League One leaders Plymouth Aygyle.
Belgian Jimmy De Roy never misses a single Bolton game, flying from Belgium to Manchester.
For the match this weekend, Jimmy will be flying to Heathrow.
He said: “For me it is a return to Wembley as my first ever game was Bolton vs Villa at Wembley.”
Travelling 7,000 miles already, are Latin America fans Matias Foti, Nicolas Alvarez and Federico Di Rocco, who are making their first ever trip to see a live game.
Mark Horridge and his two young sons are all Wanderers boys in Colorado, America, and despite the distance, Mark knew he couldn’t miss the opportunity.
He said: “I've lived in Colorado for 15 years, but Bolton is, and always will be home.
“My kids are big Bolton fans and wear their shirts to school out here.
“Of course, no-one knows who Bolton are."
Mike Roberts and his son Henry have arrived from Michigan, America, and made sure to drop in on a few local landmarks like Ye Olde Man and Scythe and Ye Olde Pastie Shop on Churchgate earlier this week before getting a few pictures with Wanderers stars Kieran Lee, Dion Charles, Ricardo Santos and Gethin Jones.
Meanwhile, three generations are heading to the game together from Germany and Switzerland.
Andrew Lee and his daughter Katie Lee are coming from Karlsruhe in the South West of Germany while Andrew’s dad Frank is flying over from Basel in Switzerland.
Husband and wife Tom and Sophie Bannister are both die-hard Wanderers fans currently working in Cyprus.
Tom said: “We're absolutely buzzing about the game, we cannot wait!
“We are stopping with family in Bolton then travelling down on a minibus with Bolton quizzes, Bolton bingo and prizes on the way.”
Close to 34,000 tickets have now been sold by Wanderers as the club head to the stadium for the 14th time in history.
