James Trafford played the full 90 minutes as England Under-21s recorded a 4-0 victory against France.
The fixture took place at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium and was broadcast live via BBC iPlayer and the red button.
Trafford made five saves in total to keep the French attack at bay, including a smart stop to deny Rayan Cherki from close range. The Manchester City loanee also did well to keep out Kouadio Kone’s strike from distance.
Emile Smith Rowe opened the scoring early in the second half, heading home at the far post from Morgan Gibbs-White’s cross.
Noni Madueke doubled England’s lead after a well-worked move involving Jacob Ramsey and Curtis Jones.
Jones added a third with a clever finish after getting on the end of Madueke’s cross 11 minutes from time.
And Ramsey wrapped up the result during the final stages after more good work by Chelsea youngster Madueke.
Trafford got the nod in goal ahead of Josh Griffiths, Anthony Patterson and Carl Rushworth.
The 19-year-old has continued his consistent form from club football, having kept more clean sheets than any other goalkeeper in League One since the start of the campaign.
