Wanderers’ win streak came to an end following a 1-0 defeat at promotion rivals Wycombe, but what did fans have to say?
Lewis Wing got the decisive goal on the stroke of half time, beating James Trafford after a clever corner routine.
Gethin Jones hit the bar for the Whites, while Cameron Jerome also had a couple of penalty appeals turned down in the second half.
Here is what Bolton supporters said about the match on social media
Not good enough. Rattled by a more physical side and couldn't handle it and got dragged into a scrap that suited Wycombe.

Got to say fair play to Wycombe today. Never really let us settle into a rhythm. Obviously a hard side to beat considering their unbeaten run. We needed to take our chances when they came along. Put it behind us and go again #bwfc

Frustrating afternoon. Never really got any fluency in the final 3rd & their forwards were a constant threat. That said I think we had at least 1 MASSIVE penalty call when Jerome was barged. Thought the ref was poor for both sides & didn’t allow the game to flow. Onto the next!!!

Should have had one, possibly two pens. But just not good enough today.

Bad result. Need to stop dropping points against top 6 sides otherwise we won’t be going up. Hope this means well smash it against Accrington though and we get a trip to Wembley!! 🙏

Started well, didn’t take our chance and then played in Wycombe’s hands. Too many players off it today #bwfc

If we were going to lose to anyone, it would be Wycombe. Very annoying team to play away. Move on and focus on getting to Wembley. We'll pick back up in the league against Port Vale next week #bwfc

Gutted about today, was always going to be a tough one, still a lot of football to play yet, roll on Wednesday #bwfc

We might have played a slightly different side today, or made different (earlier) subs if certain players were not cup tied.

If we win on Wednesday then missing out on a point might be worth it, even if it was a really bad game to lose. #bwfc
Just a bad day at the office #bwfc
