Wanderers are down to the bare bones ahead of this weekend’s trip to Peterborough, but when are their injured players likely to return?
Several members of the Bolton squad are currently sidelined by injury, while Conor Bradley and Elias Kachunga are also suspended.
Meanwhile, Declan John is being monitored after coming through his first 90 minutes in around three months.
It isn’t ideal ahead of a clash with a promotion rival, and Ian Evatt admits it is a concern at this stage of the campaign.
But the Bolton boss says it is an opportunity for others to deliver and prove why they should be in the side on a regular basis.
Here is a full list of each player currently out of action and when they could return to the first-team picture
Randell Williams
Was absent from the squad against Cheltenham over the weekend due to a hamstring strain but could be back available for the trip to London Road. Has made five appearances so far since joining from Hull City.
Dan Nlundulu
Has missed the last few games with a hamstring issue after joining on loan from Southampton for the remainder of the season. He is nearing a return to action but this weekend’s game is likely to come too soon for him.
George Thomason
Also nearing a return after spending several months on the sidelines with a knee injury suffered during the 1-1 draw against Bristol Rovers. Has recovered ahead of schedule after a specialist decided he did not require surgery.
MJ Williams
Was set to have a knee operation today and will be out of action for three to four weeks, although Evatt has stressed it is not a “major” injury. B Team youngster Nelson Khumbeni made the bench against Cheltenham in his absence.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson
Could miss the rest of the season after having surgery on an ankle injury picked up during the 3-0 win against Portsmouth last month. Has had a torrid run of luck since joining Wanderers from Millwall 12 months ago.
Jack Iredale
Another long-term absentee after suffering a tear of his lateral meniscus and could be sidelined until April in the worst case. He suffered the injury against Derby but played a further hour against Barnsley before he was forced off.
