B Team youngster Max Conway has extended his loan at non-league side Buxton for the remainder of the season.
Conway has made a positive impression at the National League North side since joining back in November.
The left-back was a regular starter in the Central League during the opening months of the season, providing moments of quality in the final third.
He signed his first professional deal at Wanderers last summer after spending a couple of months around the first-team squad.
Conway has benefitted from getting a taste of men’s football in recent weeks and even featured in a televised FA Cup tie against Ipswich.
“We are delighted to confirm that Max Conway’s loan has been extended until the end of the season," the club said.
“Max has made a real impact since his arrival from Bolton and we thank them for agreeing to the extension.”
Buxton are currently 16th in the table following Saturday’s 1-0 victory against King’s Lynn at the Silverlands Stadium.
Craig Elliott’s side are back in league action on Tuesday night when they make the trip to Leamington (7.45pm).
Meanwhile, team-mate Matty Grivosti has extended his loan at Warrington in the Northern Premier League top flight.
Mark Beesley's side are fourth in the table, having lost just six league matches since the start of the campaign.
Conor Carty and Connor Stanley also headed out on loan over the weekend, joining St Patrick’s Athletic and Bamber Bridge respectively.
Stanley will play alongside Luke Hutchinson at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium. Meanwhile, Arran Pettifer is on loan at Atherton Colls and Adam Senior is playing in the National League with Halifax.
Matt Craddock’s side are scheduled to resume their Central League campaign on Tuesday, February 14 when they make the trip to Preston North End Reserves.
The young Whites sit third in the table, having picked up 10 points from their seven matches so far.
