Wanderers are back on the road this weekend as they head to Pride Park to take on promotion rivals Derby County.
Ian Evatt’s men currently sit fifth in the League One table, only behind the Rams on goal difference at this stage.
The Whites recorded a comfortable 3-0 win against Portsmouth in their last outing, with Dion Charles, Kieran Lee and Eoin Toal all getting on the scoresheet.
Team news
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson needs surgery on an ankle injury sustained against Pompey and is set to miss the remainder of the season.
The Iceland international has had a string of bad injury luck, having recently returned from a broken nose.
As for the hosts, experienced defender James Chester is sidelined by a calf injury that will keep him out until March.
Paul Warne has also revealed he has another injury concern in the squad but refused to name the player in question.
Opposition lowdown
Paul Warne – who guided Rotherham to automatic promotion to the Championship last season - took charge at Pride Park back in September.
Derby have won five of their last six matches in all competitions as they aim to bounce back from last season’s relegation from the Championship.
The Rams recorded a 3-2 victory at Cheltenham after goals from Conor Hourihane, Max Bird and Tom Barkhuizen.
Head-to-head
Wanderers have faced Derby 134 times in their history, with a record of 46 wins, 23 draws and 65 defeats.
The points were shared when the sides met last month following a goalless draw at the University of Bolton Stadium.
The Whites’ last win in the fixture came in September 2018, with Craig Noone getting the decisive goal that day.
Bolton suffered a 4-0 defeat on their last trip to Pride Park in April 2019, with current England star Mason Mount scoring a hat trick for the Rams.
