Ian Evatt reckons Wanderers chairman Sharon Brittan is “the best owner in football”.
Brittan became chairman back in 2019 after the Whites had come within a matter of days away from liquidation.
The takeover has since been described as “one of the most difficult in the history of football”.
Evatt called Brittan a “powerful woman who inspires people” and says she has created “a place where everybody is pulling together.”
He told BBC’s Football Daily: "I'm really fortunate in that I think I've got the best owner in football, and I don't say that lightly. "People will judge that and say, 'she's his boss, of course he's going to think that'.
"But she's a powerful woman who inspires people, and when you meet her and you're in her company, she's one of a kind.
"She wants to influence the game in a positive way and she wants to do good. You saw the carol concert and what that meant to the community.
"There's a real buy-in and togetherness from everybody here at Bolton Wanderers. There's no hierarchy, everyone is as important as each other, and it has just become a really good place to work and be a part of.
"It really is a place where everybody is pulling together. We've got some wonderful people working here and we've got smiles on faces again.
"We have a connection with our fanbase and a town who are proud of their football club once again. It's a real good place to be. We're really proud of what we're doing here and long may that continue."
Wanderers currently sit fifth in the League One table following Saturday’s 3-0 win against Portsmouth at the UniBol. Dion Charles, Kieran Lee and Eoin Toal were all on target for the Whites.
Evatt’s men are unbeaten in their last eight matches in all competitions ahead of Saturday’s trip to promotion rivals Derby County.
