Hull boss Liam Rosenior reckons Wanderers is the perfect place for new signing Randell Williams to continue his career.
Williams joins the Whites for an undisclosed fee and has put pen to paper over a two-and-a-half-year deal at the University of Bolton Stadium.
The 25-year-old wing-back - who can play on either flank - made just eight appearances for Hull this season and hasn’t featured since a 2-0 defeat against Birmingham back in October.
Rosenior called Williams “a very talented footballer” and says the squad was simply too big to offer him regular playing time.
He told Hull Live: "It's a fantastic move for Randell and he deserves it. He's done absolutely nothing wrong in my time working with him at the football club, it's just the squad size was so big.
"He's a very talented footballer and I think he's going to really enjoy playing with a football team - I know Ian Evatt plays a really good style of football - and I know it's going to fit him like a glove.
"I wish Randell and his family all the best for the future and he's more than welcome back here at any time."
Williams could be in the squad for Saturday’s fixture against League One Leaders Plymouth.
Speaking about the signing, Ian Evatt said: “He is a player we have looked at for a long time and one I admired when he was at Exeter before going to the Championship.
“He has played games at Hull but they have changed the policy of what they are doing there, change of ownership, change of manager, and Randell has become available. We beat other teams to his signature.
“He offers us some real dynamic pace and speed down the left and an attacking threat. But I also feel we need to gather and gain more dribbling quality, especially against teams who are going to sacrifice and go into a low block.
"We need someone who can battle and beat players in a one-on-one duel and get crosses in the box, create for us, just as well on the left as Conor does on the right.”
