Lincoln boss Mark Kennedy has confirmed that Danny Mandroiu is available for their League One clash against Wanderers.
The attacking midfielder missed the recent 2-1 defeat against Premier League Southampton in the Carabao Cup fourth round.
Mandroiu has scored three goals in 10 appearances this season after joining from League of Ireland side Shamrock Rovers.
Lincoln currently sit 14th in the table and are unbeaten at home this season, having won two and drawn eight of their 10 matches so far.
However, the Imps suffered a 3-0 defeat at Burton on Boxing Day after goals from Sam Hughes, Jonny Smith and Victor Adeboyejo.
Kennedy is keen to see a reaction against the Whites and reckons his side have what it takes to return to winning ways.
“(It is) as difficult as any other game,” he told the club’s YouTube channel. “I keep saying it all year, I think anybody can beat anybody on any given day.
“If you are at your game and somebody else is not, you can win. If you are below par, you will get found out. We did on Boxing Day.
“I look at Bolton’s last few results at home, they have scored lots of goals. But we’ve proven ourselves on many occasions this year and we are capable of winning these games.”
Ian Evatt’s men recorded a 2-0 victory when the sides met at the UniBol back in October, with Dion Charles and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson both getting on the scoresheet that day.
Wanderers have won their last three matches against the Imps - their last defeat in the fixture came in January 2020.
The winner of Friday’s fixture at Sincil Bank will be presented with the John Reames memorial trophy.
Reames is the longest-serving chairman in Lincoln’s history and also managed the club between 1998 and 2000.
He passed away from cancer in 2008 and his family will be in attendance to present the trophy, which has become an annual tradition over the festive period.
