Wanderers are back on the road as they continue the busy festive period with a trip to Mark Kennedy’s Lincoln City.
The Whites enter the game on the back of a goalless draw against Derby at the UniBol, with Dion Charles going closest to breaking the deadlock during the second half.
Ian Evatt’s men are currently fifth in the League One table – only a point behind fourth-place Barnsley, who have a game in hand at this stage.
Team news
Wanderers have welcomed Ricardo Santos and Gethin Jones back to full training ahead of tonight’s game.
Santos hasn’t featured since the 3-2 win against Barrow in the Papa Johns Trophy back in November after he was hospitalised with breathing problems following a viral infection.
Meanwhile, Jones has missed the last couple of matches after he was forced off against Manchester United Under-21s with a glute problem.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson returned to action against Derby, but George Thomason remains long-term absentee due to a knee injury.
Opposition lowdown
Former Manchester City and Wolves full back Kennedy took charge at Sincil Bank in May following a spell as Lee Bowyer’s assistant at Birmingham.
The Imps currently sit 14th in the table and are unbeaten at home this season, having won two and drawn eight of their 10 matches so far.
Kennedy’s side suffered a 3-0 defeat at Burton in their last outing after goals from Sam Hughes, Jonny Smith and Victor Adeboyejo.
Head-to-head
Wanderers have faced Lincoln 25 times in their history, with a record of 12 wins, four draws and seven defeats.
Evatt’s men recorded a 2-0 victory when the sides met at the UniBol back in October, with Dion Charles and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson both getting on the scoresheet that day.
The Whites have won their last three matches against the Imps, with their last defeat in the fixture coming in January 2020.
