Wanderers booked their place in the Papa Johns Trophy quarter-final following a 4-0 victory against Manchester United Under-21s.
Dapo Afolayan, Aaron Morley, Amadou Bakayoko and Conor Bradley were all on target for the Whites at the UniBol.
Ian Evatt's men are now just two games away from a potential trip to Wembley in the final.
Here is what Bolton supporters had to say about the game on social media

We played well , movement was fantastic , we could’ve scored 10.

We certainly need an additional striker come January, but we do have the ability to break teams down - was great to see .
Ps please keep sadlier ! #bwfc
Really mixed emotions. Defensively questionable at times. In possession, fantastic. Decision making and finishing in final third, shocking. The 4-0 score line was deserved, but it should have been a lot more convincing a lot sooner. Have to work on getting more clinical #bwfc

That was probably the most frustrating game of football I have ever watched. The scoreline actually looks miniscule to what it should have been. Lack of composure in front of goal from a lot of players. The combination play was quite impressive though.

Got the job done in the end lads. Should have had 10 goals today!

We really need to look into hiring a forwards/attacking coach. Or at least someone to work on shooting technique. Can’t be missing the amount of chances that we did in the first half in a league game…
