Wanderers are back on the road as they make the journey to Whaddon Road to take on Cheltenham Town.

Wanderers have no fresh injury concerns following Saturday’s game and Evatt insists the squad is “ready to go”.

As for the hosts, star man Alfie May is an injury doubt after suffering an ankle injury against Shrewsbury at the weekend.

The forward, who scored 23 goals in League One last season, was set to have a scan on the injury yesterday.

However, midfielder Elliot Bonds returned from injury against the Shrews – his first appearance since August.

Opposition lowdown

Wade Elliott took charge at Whaddon Road following Michael Duff’s departure to League One rivals during the summer.

Cheltenham brought in plenty of fresh faces over the summer, including the likes of Ryan Jackson and Ryan Broom.

Elliott’s side have won three of their last four matches in all competitions and are up to 17th in the table after a difficult start.

The Robins recorded a 2-0 win against Shrewsbury Town in their last outing thanks to goals from Sean Long and May either side of half-time.

Head-to-head

Wanderers have only faced Cheltenham five times in their history, with a record of two wins, two draws and one defeat.

The Whites recorded a 2-1 victory when the sides met back in April, with Kieran Sadlier and Amadou Bakayoko getting on the scoresheet.

Meanwhile, the points were shared at the UniBol last November despite goals from Xavier Amaechi and Elias Kachunga.
