Wanderers have already had some big attendances this season, but how does their average figure compare to the rest of League One?
The Whites’ biggest home gate so far this term came against Sheffield Wednesday, with more than 22,000 supporters in attendance.
The growing numbers at the UniBol should come as little surprise after the club sold more season tickets than in any other campaign since the Premier League days.
Wanderers’ average figure of 18,563 puts them in the top four across the division, according to data from transfermarkt.co.uk.
Derby County lead the way with an average figure of 27,109 at Pride Park following their relegation from the Championship last season.
Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town also rank highly, both averaging more than 24,000 supporters at Hillsborough and Portman Road respectively.
Portsmouth are close behind the Whites on 18,315, while Plymouth Argyle and Charlton Athletic are the only other sides in League One with a total higher than 10,000.
Accrington Stanley sit at the bottom of the list with an average figure of 2,400 since the start of the campaign.
Forest Green Rovers (2,853), Fleetwood Town (3,316) and Burton Albion (3,404) also find themselves near the bottom.
Ian Evatt’s men are back at the UniBol on Saturday, October 1 when they take on Lincoln City (KO 3pm).
The Whites are currently sixth in the table despite having no fixture last weekend after their trip to Portsmouth was postponed due to international call-ups.
