Wanderers are back in Papa John’s Trophy action as they take on League Two outfit Tranmere Rovers.
Ian Evatt’s men recorded a convincing 4-1 victory against Crewe Alexandra in their opener last month.
Meanwhile, Tranmere were due to face Leeds United Under-21s but the fixture was postponed until November 1 due to youth international call-ups.
When and where is the game being played?
The fixture takes place at Preston Park on Tuesday night with an earlier kick-off time of 7pm.
Tickets are still available and are priced at £10 for adults, £5 for over-65s and under-23s, and £2 for under-12s.
Wanderers suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat on their last trip to Tranmere in January 2021 despite Antoni Sarcevic’s goal.
The Whites finished the game with 10 men after Ryan Delaney was given his marching orders.
