B Team youngster Matty Grivosti has joined National League side Yeovil Town on a three-month loan deal.

Grivosti joined the Whites from Warrington Town over the summer after scoring nine goals in 21 league starts for the non-league outfit last season.

The versatile wideman also completed a three-year course at the Robbie Fowler Education and Football Academy while playing for Warrington and has represented England Colleges.

Grivosti featured for the B Team during their pre-season schedule and was on target in a 2-2 draw against his former club at Cantilever Park on Tuesday night.

The 19-year-old heads out on loan in search of regular first-team football as he continues his development.

He could be involved tomorrow evening when Yeovil kick off the new campaign with a trip to Scunthorpe United in front of the BT Sport cameras (KO 5:20pm).

Manager Chris Hargreaves said: “Matt arrives as an exciting addition to our group. He’s shown a real maturity in front of goal at such a young age.

“He is an individual who is already battle-hardened from competing and thriving within the Northern Premier League at such a young age.

"That is a huge testament to him. He has all the attributes to make a big impact here.”

The Glovers are aiming to build on last season’s 12th-place finish in the National League.
