Fulham have reportedly joined the race to sign Nat Phillips ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Bolton-born defender came through the ranks at Wanderers before joining Liverpool’s youth set-up in 2016.
He broke into the first-team picture at Anfield in 2020/21 and has made 24 appearances in total for the Merseyside club, with his only goal coming in a 3-0 win against Burnley.
Phillips returned to the UniBol as the Reds' Under-21 side were beaten 4-1 by Wanderers in the Papa John’s Trophy group stage last season.
The 25-year-old also featured in the Champions League matches against Atletico Madrid and AC Milan before Christmas.
However, he spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Bournemouth, making 22 appearances as the Cherries won promotion back to the top-flight under Scott Parker.
The South Coast club have been linked with a move to bring Phillips back to the Vitality Stadium over the summer.
The defender is expected to leave Anfield and Fulham are now also interested in his services, according to Goal.
The London outfit clinched the Championship title last term, winning 27 of their 46 league matches to seal an immediate return to the Premier League.
Marco Silva is keen to bolster his defensive options but the Reds are said to be wanting at least a £10million fee for Phillips.
The 25-year-old played alongside Wanderers wing-back Conor Bradley, who made his debut against Ipswich, at times last season.
