Wanderers stepped up their pre-season preparations with a 2-0 win against Watford at the Hornets' London Colney Training Ground.
Kieran Lee opened the scoring before Dapo Afolayan doubled the Whites' lead on the stroke of half-time.
It was the first of two friendlies against Championship opposition, with a home clash against Huddersfield also coming up before the new season gets underway.

Decent. Watford aren't a bad side with players like João Pedro and Isamaila Sarr. I think this just shows the mental side of the game when we struggle against local sides like Stockport and that other one.
