WANDERERS have announced the first four of seven first team pre-season friendlies – kicking off their summer schedule with a game at non-league Longridge Town.
Ian Evatt’s side will play at the North West Counties League club on their return from a week-long training camp in Portugal.
The game will be played on Tuesday, June 28 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The Whites face Chorley in their traditional pre-season game on Saturday, July 2, with a 3pm kick off at Victory Park.
Oldham Athletic provide the opposition on Tuesday, July 12 at Boundary Park (7.45pm kick off) as ex-Bolton midfielder John Sheridan prepares his side for National League football following their relegation from League Two.
And on Tuesday, July 26, Wanderers head for the coast to face Southport (7.45pm kick-off), four days before the League One season commences.
Further games will be confirmed in the coming weeks, including the opposition for a home game on Saturday, July 23. A separate B Team schedule will also be released.
