Where Bolton, Sunderland, Portsmouth and Ipswich rank in League One fair play table

The Whites finished ninth in their first season back in the third tier following Saturday’s 4-2 win against Fleetwood at the UniBol.

Ian Evatt’s men have been one of the form teams in League One since the turn of the year when they brought in the likes of Dion Charles, Aaron Morley and James Trafford.

But how does their disciplinary record compare to the rest of the division? Wanderers are fourth in the fair play table, according to transfermarkt.co.uk.

Their rating system awards one point for a yellow card, three for a second yellow and five for a straight red.

The Whites have received 67 yellow cards and two straight reds since the start of the campaign.

Both of the reds were awarded to captain Ricardo Santos against Fleetwood and Morecambe respectively, although the latter was overturned following an appeal.

Plymouth have the best record in League One, having been awarded 61 bookings and no straight red cards.

At the other end of the list, Charlton (127 pts) and Accrington (126 pts) have been the worst offenders this season.
