WANDERERS will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in League One when they welcome Accrington Stanley to the UniBol (KO 3pm).

Ian Evatt’s men enter the game in high spirits following a 2-1 win at Doncaster thanks to goals from Amadou Bakayoko and Kieran Sadlier.

Team news

Kyle Dempsey will not be rushed back in time for this afternoon’s game but could feature against Cheltenham.

Ricardo Santos and Kieran Lee are out for the remainder of the season but Andrew Tutte returned to light training last week.

Wanderers are likely to rotate their front line and could bring Dion Charles back into the side against his former club.

Opposition lowdown

Stanley were held to a goalless draw against Burton in their last outing, with Colby Bishop and former Bolton midfielder Ethan Hamilton both going close.

Coleman's men are currently 14th in the League One table – nine points behind the Whites with three games to go.

Wanderers have only faced the Reds five times in their history, with a record of one win, one draw and three defeats.

The points were shared when the sides last met at the UniBol back in February 2020 following a goalless draw.

Last meeting

The Whites suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at the Wham Stadium back in December on an afternoon to forget for Bolton fans.

Tommy Leigh got the decisive goal midway through the first half, heading home after a mix up at the back.

Wanderers were impacted by injuries and named youngsters Arran Pettifer and Matthew Tweedley on the bench.
