WANDERERS (4-2-3-1).
JOEL DIXON…7.
Kept Lincoln at bay – and while he did not have to pull any saves out of the top drawer, he gave a calmness which came in very handy in the second half.
GETHIN JONES…8.
Big night for the right-back whose performance had come in for criticism at Wimbledon. Always in the right place at the right time, defensively. Top notch.
RICARDO SANTOS…7.
Still getting there, fitness wise, and looked to be wobbling in the final 10 minutes but there were plenty of moments of quality from the big man.
GEORGE JOHNSTON…8.
Back in the side for Baptiste and got himself right in the thick of it. Has a knack of making difficult things look easy.
LIAM GORDON…7.
Another man who had big pressure on his shoulders after coming into the team for Declan John but let absolutely nobody down. Defensively solid.
MJ WILLIAMS…7.5.
If his levels dipped a little at the weekend, this was right back on song for the former Liverpool man, who wrestled control back from Bridcutt after the break.
JOSH SHEEHAN…7.
Tried hard to make things happen early on but came into his own more in the second half, knitting things together seamlessly.
AMADOU BAKAYOKO…5.5.
Harsh for the hard-working striker that he had to come off with what looked like a calf problem before properly impacting on the game.
ANTONI SARCEVIC…7.5.
Came up with the goods when Bolton needed it once again. Had been toiling without reward for the last couple of games but deserves a pat on the back.
DAPO AFOLAYAN…8.
Worked hard defensively as well as carrying a threat down the wing – and even came in at the far post with a header which hit the woodwork. Improving.
EOIN DOYLE…6.5.
Ran hard once again and so nearly poked the ball over the line after Afolayan’s header bounced off the bar.
Subs: Isgrove 8.5, 39 (for Bakayoko) – Changed the game in Bolton’s favour.
Kachunga 7, 69 (for Doyle) – Composed as you like for the goal.
Lee 80 (for Sarcevic) – Added another cool head in the final 10 minutes.
Not used: Baptiste, Gilks, Brockbank, Thomason.
Lincoln City: Griffiths; Poole, Jackson, Melbourne, Edun; McGrandles, Bridcutt, Sorensen; Scully, Hopper, Adelakun.
Subs: Bramall 75 (for Scully), Nlundulu 80 (for Sorensen), Fiorini 86 (for McGrandles).
Not used: Long, Montsma, Jones, Longdon.
Referee: Samuel Barrott – 7/10. Kept largely out of the spotlight and seemed to get the penalty appeals right.
Attendance: 9,130.
