IAN Evatt has confirmed that defender Reiss Greenidge is set to leave Wanderers on a season-long loan.
Speaking after the 1-0 win against Preston North End, the Bolton boss said that the centre-back is set to leave the UniBol within the next couple of days.
Greenidge has been strongly linked with a move to Barnet, having slipped down the pecking order with the Whites.
The Guyana international made seven appearances for Wanderers last season as they earned promotion from League Two.
But with his contract set to expire, it is likely that he has now played his last game for the club.
“I think we’re close to agreeing a deal with a National League team so hopefully that gets finalised in the next couple of days and we’ll wish Reiss all the best,” Evatt told The Bolton News.
Asked if Greenidge would be leaving on loan for the rest of the campaign, he added: “Yeah, that’s what it looks like.”
