Bolton and Blackburn were Championship rivals in 2018/19
BOLTON Wanderers will host Blackburn Rovers in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, August 29.
The game, behind closed doors at the University of Bolton Stadium, will come seven days before Ian Evatt’s side are due to start the EFL season with the first round of the Carabao Cup.
A club statement read: “The club would like to remind supporters that due to the restrictions on social distancing there will be no entry to the stadium.”
Wanderers have so far played three non-league sides, picking up victories over Atherton Colls, Bamber Bridge and Loughborough University.
