Bolton Wanderers have announced their first pre-season friendly.
Ian Evatt will take his side to Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit FC United of Manchester on Wednesday, August 12.
The game at Broadhurst Park will be behind closed doors due to Covid-19 restrictions with kick-off to be confirmed.
The news comes just a few hours after it was confirmed by the EFL that the Whites will start life in League Two on September 12.
Evatt’s squad have been back in training this week with a view to having an eight-week build-up to the new campaign.
Neil Reynolds’ Red Rebels finished second in their league last season but were denied a possible return to the National League North with the season cut short by the coronavirus pandemic.
