WANDERERS have secured a loan deal for Tottenham's flying winger Anthony Georgiou.
The midfielder, who has been capped at international level by Cyprus, was recently recalled from a spell at Ipswich Town.
Georgiou, aged 22, has also had a loan spell in Spain with Levante, and can play in any position down the left side.
After starting off in Watford’s youth system, Georgiou moved on to Spurs at the age of 15 and moved up the ranks to become a regular for the club’s Under-23s.
He featured in the 2017/18 Champions League for the North Londoners, coming on as a substitute against APOEL Nicosia and also sat on the bench against Real Madrid.
His league debut came on the left side of Ipswich’s midfield on the opening day of the season as Paul Lambert’s side beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1.
He went on to make 13 appearances in total for the Tractor Boys before his loan was ended on December 28.
