BURNDEN’S Liz McLellan won the Dunham Massey Duathlon women’s race.
McLellan, pictured left, completed the event – a 14km bike ride sandwiched between two 2.3km road runs – in a superb time of 47mins 15secs, two minutes ahead of her nearest rival.
Elsewhere, Marcus Chester led home a quartet of members at the Lytham Windmill Half Marathon.
Chester crossed the finish line in 1:39:15, ahead of Sharon Drew who covered the coastal course in 2:17:31.
Jen Forkin and Shirley Robinson completed their first half marathons, finishing together each clocking a time of 2:33:43.
Paul Drew and Don Nichol took on the 5-Mile Trail Race at the Pendle Festival, with Drew posting a time of 46:38 and Nichol finishing close behind in 47:34.
