THIS week’s delve into The Bolton News picture archives has unearthed this photograph from October 1990.
It features the Bolton School Under-18s team and the information accompanying the picture says they beat Saddleworth High School 9-0 in the Greater Manchester Schools' Cup before going down 6-1 in a friendly against St Bede's College, Manchester.
Do you recall that team or did you play for the school side?
Do you recognise any of the faces in the line-up?

THE second picture was published in the sporting nostalgia section in the January 17 edition of The Bolton News and features youngsters from St John’s RC Primary School in Bromley Cross from 1991.
It brought back memories for reader Tom Winterbottom who thinks he played against them.
He explained: "I played for Harwood Meadows Primary school against St John's and I believe this is the team we played.
"I was the goalkeeper but had been put up front in the previous game and scored a hat-trick in a 4-0 win.
"For our next game versus St John's I was put up front once again but they routed us.
"We went 4-0 down within a few minutes and I recall their blond-haired midfielder running the show.
"We ended up losing about 9-0 with their striker scoring all the goals.
"I think his name was Danny Decimo and remember our coach telling us to remember his name.
"It was a footballing lesson and one that still rankles with me.
"In that era, Eagley juniors had a good team who we had good battles with, but that St John's team was another level on the day we played them."
