DENNIS Politic has already got his manager's vote after making an impressive debut for Salford City at the weekend.
The Wanderers youngster, on loan with the current Conference leaders until mid-December, came off the bench to make his senior debut in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Ebsfleet United.
Reflecting on the 18-year-old's first appearance, Ammies boss Graham Alexander was full of praise for the academy graduate, who had been a regular in David Lee's Under-23s this season.
“I thought he was excellent, he gave the team an injection of quality and penetration," Alexander said.
“Dennis knew what he was doing when he got on the ball, made a great chance at the end of the game as well, which we should have scored.
“He has trained really well this week, we have been really impressed with him since he came in.
“He has got the quality to play on both sides of the pitch, right, left-foot, scores goals, we’ve already seen that in training, and he went close with one opportunity that got deflected over the bar.
“Just in that little cameo of 20-25 minutes he showed he has got the potential to be a really good player for us.”
