FORMER Wanderers boss Owen Coyle has made a return to the dugout in the Scottish Premier League.
The 51-year-old Scot has been announed as the new manager of Ross County, succeeding Jim McIntyre, and has brought his long-time assistant Sandy Stewart.
Coyle managed 133 games at Bolton, taking the team to the FA Cup semi-finals, but also suffered relegation from the Premier League before leaving the club by mutual consent in October 2012.
He has since managed local rivals Wigan Athletic and Blackburn Rovers, either side of a spell in MLS with Houston Dynamo.
Ross County have just posted the following message on their official website: "Ross County Football Club are delighted to announce that Owen Coyle has been appointed as the club’s new Manager. Coyle joins the club on a two-year contract and will start with immediate effect. He will be joined at the club by Sandy Stewart who has been named Assistant Manager."
