WANDERERS are back in action against Middlesbrough this weekend and hoping to kick-start their campaign in the Championship.
Things did not go according to plan for Phil Parkinson’s men last time out at Hull as they emerged from the KCOM Stadium on the wrong end of a 4-0 mauling.
Winless after five games, the league table has not made good reading through the international break – but that can all change this Saturday with the visit of recently-relegated Boro.
Garry Monk’s side hasn’t yet ripped up any trees since dropping into the second tier, losing two of their first five games. But they have spent a whopping £30million on 10 summer signings, making them one of the hot favourites for an immediate return to the Premier League.
Parkinson picked a 3-5-2 formation (see above) at Hull but could change things around with the addition of deadline day signing Craig Noone.
There are doubts over the fitness of Jem Karacan and Will Buckley, while Josh Cullen is only due to return from international duty with Ireland on Friday.
Josh Vela is definitely ruled out but David Wheater and Sammy Ameobi should be available for selection.
With all that said… What would YOUR team be to face Boro this weekend?
