WANDERERS legend Jussi Jaaskelainen has NOT decided to hang up his gloves.

Reports today suggested the 41-year-old Finnish keeper had called time on his 25-year career after his release at Wigan Athletic.

But after contacting their former goalkeeper, Wanderers have now confirmed the Bolton-based Jaaskelainen has not officially announced his retirement.

It is understood Jaaskelainen told a Finnish news agency he was keeping his options open in the next few months and could yet look to continue playing but that the story may have been mis-translated.
