FORMER Charlton Athletic full-back Lawrie Wilson has been handed a trial at Wanderers in tonight’s game against Morecambe.
The 27-year-old was given a short-term deal at Rotherham United at the end of last season but failed to agree a permanent move.
But with Neil Lennon looking to fill a problematic right-back slot, his appearance on the bench at the Globe Arena suggests the manager is seriously considering offering him a deal.
Fellow trialist Stephen Dobbie is also starting the game, with some suggestion he could be offered a contract after impressing over the last few weeks.
