ZAT Knight’s move to MLS football with Colorado Rapids appeared to be growing closer today.
It is thought the former Wanderers skipper will fly into Denver this weekend to complete the formalities of a deal.
Rapids hinted they were on the verge of signing an experienced centre-half, although they are yet to confirm their pursuit of the 34-year-old former England international.
Technical director Paul Bravo told reporters: “His strengths are experience, leadership qualities. He’s going to be very good in the air.
“He’s also going to be somebody who can command the whole group out on the field from that position.”
