REPORTS suggest that Wanderers have offered a short-term deal to Crystal Palace midfielder Owen Garvan.
The 26-year-old is out of the frame at Selhurst Park and has been told he can leave the club.
Although there has been no indication from the Whites on whether they are looking to bring Garvan to the Macron Stadium, he may be a viable option if Premier League interest in Mark Davies materialises before the 11pm deadline.
With Josh Vela, Liam Trotter and Davies currently unavailable through injury it may also be that Freedman wants to bring in the former Ireland Under-21 international to boost his midfield ranks temporarily.
Meanwhile, Swansea City have signed former Wanderers triallist Modou Barrow for a reported £1.5million.
The Gambian striker played for the club during the summer tour of Scandinavia but was described as “too pricey” by Freedman after returning to his club Osterlunds FK.
