WANDERERS paid out £639,940 in agents fees last season, according to a report issued by the Football League.
Seven other Championship clubs shelled out more cash on agents, most notably QPR (£1,814,550) and local rivals Blackburn Rovers (£1,681,080) and Wigan Athletic (£1,656,445).
Overall, the money spent on agents’ fees in the division fell by 21 per cent.
League Two Bury spent £18,410 on agents fees between July 2013 and June 2014.
