WANDERERS have been drawn against Chelsea in the Capital One Cup third round.
The tie, which will be played the week commencing September 22, sees the Whites head to West London for the first time since February 2012 in the Premier League days.
They have faced the Blues five times in the League Cup, winning twice, drawing once and losing twice. Their last meeting was in 2009 when they were beaten 4-0 at Stamford Bridge.
Dougie Freedman’s side booked their place in the draw with a narrow win over League One Crewe on Tuesday night, having edged past local rivals Bury in the previous round.
