This is a full list of hand luggage sizes for different airlines, helping you to avoid fees on the day of travel.
From EasyJet and Ryanair to Jet2 and British Airways, each airline has a slightly different take on what counts as hand luggage and how heavy your bags can be.
After months without flights and travel due to Covid-19, it is easy to get caught out by newly-introduced charges or updated luggage sizes.
The size of bag you once took on holiday might not be eligible as hand luggage now.
Here's a guide to hand luggage sizes in 2022.
EasyJet hand luggage size
EasyJet allows passengers to bring a 45cm x 36cm x 20cm (including any handles or wheels) sized suitcase or bag on board as hand luggage.
When flying with EasyJet, the hand luggage needs to fit under the seat in front of you.
Jet2 hand luggage size
For Jet2 flights, hand luggage must be no more than 10kg and no larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm. You can also bring a small, personal item on board.
