England is set to take on Spain in the FIFA Women's World Cup final on Sunday (August 20) with both countries aiming to win the competition for the first time.
Spain had only won one previous match in any World Cup tournament before the 2023 edition, and could be the first team in history to reach the final having lost a game by four or more goals, after losing by that scoreline in their final group game to Japan.
Meanwhile, England will be looking to add another trophy to their cabinet after emerging victorious in the European Championships last year.
Regardless of the result, Europe is guaranteed to end its 16-year World Cup drought, with Germany most recently winning in 2007.
Two days to go.
