Move over Spotify, TikTok Wrapped 2023 is in town and here's how you can see your stats.

Wrapped for TikTok gives users a unique insight into the hours upon hours they've spent scrolling, discovering the latest trends and sounds. 

What started with Spotify's yearly round-ups of our listening habits, these personalised overviews have taken over the internet with similar features available for BeReal, Instagram and more.

If you want to uncover more about your endless TikTok scrolling, you can use the third-party platform Wrapped For TikTok.

Created by Bennett Hollstein, the developer explained the motivation behind creating it: "I always like Spotify Wrapped and wanted to have something similar for TikTok.

"So I built Wrapped for TikTok, a website that generates a personalized summary of your TikTok usage based on your TikTok data export.

"Wrapped for TikTok is simply a fun little project and doesn't currently have any monetization or business model behind it. It's just a fun project for me to work on in my free time.

How to see your TikTok Wrapped 2023

  1. Start by going to your TikTok account and going to your Privacy and Settings tabs on your Profile
  2. Click on account and download your data (This needs to be in a JSON format and they will be available for up to 4 days once they are ready)
  3. Once you get your data documents from TikTok, head to the Wrapped for TikTok website
  4. Submit the documents to Wrapped for TikTok
  5. Let the site load and then enjoy!

Your insights will include a full breakdown of your scrolling habits including your own 'Person' as well as a round up of your watch time and the total number of videos watched.

Prepare to feel a little exposed as you relive the number of comments that you've left and your most commonly used emoji.

Is Wrapped for TikTok safe to use?

Developer Bennett Holstein has reassured users that the third-party platform is safe to use.

In the website's FAQs, it explains: "Wrapped for TikTok uses your TikTok data export to calculate your Wrapped.

"This means that all statistics are generated locally in your browser and your data is never uploaded to any server".

It also reassured users that it "will not store or process your data on our server in any way".
