Krispy Kreme is giving customers the chance to claim doughnuts for free.
For the first time ever, in the final minute before its shops close, the doughnut chain will be treating customers to a free and fresh last-minute box of four doughnuts to make room for the next batch of freshly-made doughnuts.
Krispy Kreme doughnuts are made fresh daily and getting your hands on them is easy once you know how.
How to claim free Krispy Kreme doughnuts
For those wanting to get their hands on free doughnuts, here’s what you need to do.
You must arrive at a Krispy Kreme store one minute before its closing time and say the chosen phrase to a staff member.
Customers must tell someone who works in the store that they’re here to claim the “Last Minute Box Offer”.
They’ll then be given a box of four doughnuts, while stocks last.
The offer is available from March 6 until March 12 at participating stores so customers will have to be quick to claim their free doughnuts.
Krispy Kreme advises customers to check opening times in advance to avoid disappointment.
It’s important to note that opening times for stores may vary by location.
To find out more about the offer, you can visit the Krispy Kreme website.
Emma Colquhoun, Chief Marketing Officer UK & Ireland at Krispy Kreme said: “At Krispy Kreme, we take pride in handcrafting our doughnuts fresh every single day for our customers.
"Whether that’s adding sprinkles, or drizzling chocolate, there’s always a Krispy Kremer on hand to ensure that each doughnut is hand-crafted to perfection.
“We are committed to having a positive role in tackling food waste, and are already working in partnership with ‘Too Good To Go’, the world’s largest surplus food platform, to reduce food waste.
"In addition from 6th-12th March, customers can pick up a box of free doughnuts at the end of each day. We’re thrilled that we’re able to offer another way to reduce waste, while also helping customers save money and spread joy.”
