Former Coronation Street star Faye Brookes has announced her engagement to partner Iwan Lewis in an exclusive interview with OK!.
The magazine shared an Instagram post announcing the news with the caption: “Congratulations to Coronation Street’s @faye_brookes who has announced she is engaged to Iwan Lewis after four months of dating!

The actress left the ITV soap in 2019 having played Kate Connor since 2015.

The character’s on-screen romance was with Rana Habeeb, played by Bhavna Limbachia.
The couple were fondly dubbed “Kana” by fans, although Rana died on their wedding day in March, leaving fans devastated.
Brookes has previously starred in other theatre productions of shows including Grease and Legally Blonde.
Her first post-soap role was Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs at the Birmingham Hippodrome where she played the princess.
