A man has been charged for possession of a bladed article following his arrest on Wednesday (November 23).
Marcin Krupa of Rushey Fold Lane, Bolton, was charged and bailed to appear in court yesterday (November 24).
It follows on from an operation at Bolton Interchange, whilst police were out on patrol.
Bolton South neighbourhood team and special constables were on patrol as part of the Greater Manchester Travel Safe operation.
There were some plain clothed officers and some uniformed officers on patrol.
The GMP Transport Unit, neighbourhood and special constables have stepped up patrol as part of Greater Manchester Travel Safe operation at Bolton Interchange, using a range of plain clothes and uniformed officers to patrol the interchange and surrounding area, to deter anti-social behaviour and criminality.
The operation has resulted in a number of arrests, and the partnership aims to deter anti-social behaviour and criminality.
The Travel Safe partnership, which is led by TfGM and Greater Manchester Police, as well as support from the Metrolink, and the bus companies Diamond, Stagecoach, and First Manchester.
