Bolton Under-15s have been given an away tie at Liverpool in the second round of the NUT English Schools' Trophy.
The town team have never reached the final of the school's version of theFA Cup and face a tough test against holders Liverpool.
Bolton have made a fine start to the season losing just one of their fourmatches played to date.
They opened with a 2-1 win against Blackburn but then lost 5-1 to Salfordbefore beating Oldham 6-3 and drawing 2-2 against Trafford.
The full second round draw involving associations in the North West is: Mid Cheshire v Ellesmere Port, Chester v Stockport, Trafford v Sefton, Bolton v Liverpool, Knowsley v Salford, Wigan v Blackburn & Darwen, Calderdale v Bury, Pendle v West Lancashire, Manchester v Sheffield, Rossendale v St Helens, Blackpool v Allerdale.
