READERS are being offered the chance to enjoy a taste of the good life at the Cheshire County Show this June. We have teamed up with the organisers of the show to promote their competition to give 10 lucky readers the chance to win a pair of tickets for the event that will celebrate all that is great and good about Cheshire on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 19 and 20.

More than 80,000 people visited last year. New attractions in 2012 include a 4x4 course in the Countryside Experience Area, sponsored by Gallagher Mitsubishi, where the public can sample the thrill of off-road driving.

The stars of the event will once again be the thousands of animals including livestock, horses and dogs. Katy Cropper, the only woman to win BBC show ‘One man and his dog’, will also wow the crowds with her duck and geese herding display.

A thrilling schedule is planned for the main ring where attractions will include a heart-stopping display by one of the UK’s leading quad bike and motorbike stunt riders, Jason Smyth, and live music from the Scots Guard Association Pipe and Drum Band.

Visitors will also be able to sample to culinary delights of the Roberts Bakery Food Hall and learn about the journey their food takes from ‘plough to plate’ in the Sainsbury’s Agri-centre.

Advanced discounted show tickets are available online NOW and tickets will also be available on the gate for both show days. For more information about the show or to purchase tickets, visit www.cheshirecountyshow.org.uk.
