I AM writing to clarify the situation following the news item on September 23 about the prescribing of a potentially "deadly dose" of Ibuprofen.
The fact is that the doctor at the Landmark House prescribed Ibuprofen 5mls three times a day, which is a reasonable dose to give a two-and-a-half-year-old child.
All the doctors at Landmark House are experienced GPs and are all subject to Clinical Governance procedures operated by CMEDS - a collaborative service owned by several local doctors.
