FARNWORTH won the BSF Rounders League inter-district tournament at Darcy Lever Cricket Club.
They romped to an 88-54 victory over Walkden in a onesided final on Sunday after narrowly edging their semifinal 67-64 against Halliwell/Smithills.
In the other semi-final, Walkden beat Astley Bridge/Bromley Cross 64-43.
The teams are made up of players who represented the districts in which they live rather than where they have played throughout the season.
Eight teams, in two groups, played on three pitches at Darcy Lever, all playing four games in their groups, with the group winners playing the runners-up of the other group in the semi-finals.
With four straight wins in group one, the dominant Farnworth side reached the semis, and the Astley Bridge/Bromley Cross team were runners-up having lost only to Farnworth.
Group two was won by the undefeated Walkden team which included Radcliffe Borough players who have a Manchester postcode.
The final action of the season is the Sunday Handicap Cup finals at Darcy Lever on Sunday.
The H-Q final is first, at 1pm, with American Express having a 60-run start against HiQ Fabs A who are limited to 20 minutes batting per innings. Helen Bradley will referee.
The A-G final follows at 2.30pm when Graham Palmer will referee Claremont Ladies against the holders, Rupert Ladies A, who are on a time limit.
