THE Nat Lofthouse exhibition at Bolton Museum and Art Gallery is well worth a visit.
I spent half an hour or so there the other day and was transported back to a football world still recognisable to many of the older people I saw gazing at exhibits that told Nat’s familiar story.
It has been put together in an extremely professional manner and strikes a chord with anybody who sees that there is something inspiring about loyalty to a town and its sporting tradition.
Although I am a Blackpool lad, I did not think it was seemly in those surroundings to spend too much time contemplating pictures from the “Matthews final” in 1953 that broke hearts in Bolton.
The exhibition runs until October 29 and looks to be a sure fire winner.
