SMOKERS might choose to avoid Iceland as a holiday destination if the latest health initiative is implemented.
The plan is to outlaw the sale of cigarettes in normal shops and confine them to pharmacies. It is part of a 10-year plan that also aims to ban smoking in all public places, including pavements and parks.
The writing is on the wall — this sort of thing is becoming a worldwide phenomenon.
