THE latest film from Radcliffe director Danny Boyle, pictured, has been nominated for three Golden Globe awards.
Former Thornleigh Salesian College pupil Danny has received a nomination in the best screenplay category, along with his co-writer, Simon Beaufoy, for their latest movie, 127 Hours.
The pair won the award in 2009 for the last film they made together, the multi award-winning Slumdog Millionaire.
Boyle’s leading man, James Franco, has also been nominated for for the best performance by an actor in a motion picture category.
Franco plays the role of Aron Ralston in the film, a climber who amputates his own arm to free himself after being trapped in a canyon by a boulder.
Composer A R Rahman has been nominated in the best original score category, which he won in 2009 for Slumdog Millionaire.
The Golden Globes are widely seen as a reliable predictor of Oscar success.
The winners will be announced on January 16.
Å 127 Hours is out on Wednesday, January 5.
